Jiwon Suh is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He primarily practices finance tax, general tax consulting, and tax dispute resolution.

Throughout his career, Mr. Suh has mainly been involved in tax policies, tax regulation, and tax rulings. Mr. Suh has developed experience and expertise in financial tax issues related to financial products such as securities, collective investment vehicles, and insurances.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Suh served as Director of the Tax & Customs Office, of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.

Mr. Suh received an LL.M. from the Seoul National University Graduate School of Law in 1998, and his LL.B. from the Seoul National University College of Law in 1995. He received a European Master of Transnational Trade Law and Finance, which is EU’s Eramus Mundus joint postgraduate program from Deusto, Tilburg, Frankfurt ILF in 2010. He attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2006. He has been admitted to the Korean bar.
