Kwang-Jin Jung is an attorney at Kim & Chang. His practice focuses on tax dispute resolution, including tax litigations, appeals to tax tribunals, tax audits, and customs disputes. He draws on his extensive experience in both the public and private sectors to provide clients with effective solutions at every stage of the process leading up to litigation, from the initial tax audit to tax assessment, as well as for the litigation itself. 

Mr. Jung has previously served as a tax attorney at Yulchon LLC, senior administrator at the Office of the Secretary to the President for Civil Affairs, partner in the Tax division of the accounting firm Deloitte, judicial researcher in the tax unit of the Korean Supreme Court, and Ulsan District Court judge. He has been involved in many landmark tax cases, appeals to tax tribunals and tax audits, and assisted the development of tax policies. 

He also served as a lecturer in the Taxation department of the University of Seoul and a member of the Korea Tax Law Association. He has also co-authored numerous academic publications in tax law including the “Application of Tax Treaties to Foreign Hybrid Entity,” and participated in various academic associations for tax law as a presenter and debater at conferences and an editor for scholarly journals.
