Ki Beom Park is an attorney with the Intellectual Property Practice Group at Kim & Chang. Mr. Park is experienced in the practice of IP laws and international transactions. Mr. Park’s major clients include global semiconductor companies, display companies, IT companies and luxury goods companies.
Throughout his career, Mr. Park has been involved in numerous IP-related disputes in Korea and issues relating to Korean businesses including trade secrets, patents, trademarks and copyrights. Mr. Park has represented top-tier multinational clients as well as Korean companies on various licensing transactions and mergers and acquisitions in addition to various IP disputes. Mr. Park also has extensive experience advising clients on issues relating to trade secrets, unfair competition activity, and employee inventions. Mr. Park regularly provides trainings and lectures on intellectual property rights, trade secrets and employee inventions to various client companies and associations.
Mr. Park graduated from Seoul National University with degrees in Political Science and Economics. In 2008, he graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea. In 2015, Mr. Park received his LL.M from Duke University School of Law and passed the Illinois State bar exam. He was admitted to the Korean bar in 2008, and admitted to the Illinois State bar in 2016.
