Hoyong Kim is an attorney at Kim & Chang’s Litigation Practice. He practices primarily in corporate criminal litigations, banking, securities and financial litigations, capital markets, construction and real estate disputes, and insurance litigations. 

Before joining the firm, Mr. Kim served as a judicial researcher at the Korean Commercial Code and was in charge of various corporate laws, finance, capital markets, insurance, and international trade disputes.

Mr. Kim also worked as a presiding judge and a judge at the Seoul Central District Court, the Seoul Eastern District Court, the Jeju District Court, the Suwon District Court, and the Seoul Northern District Court for 16 years where he experienced various trials such as civil, criminal, administrative, family affairs, and applications.
