Bio

Je Ho Lee is an attorney at Kim & Chang and practices primarily in labor and employment matters. 

In September 2013, Mr. Lee represented a client as its chief attorney regarding an ordinary wage case in public court proceedings at the Supreme Court of Korea. He has also advised on various labor cases for a number of domestic and overseas clients in sectors such as automotive manufacturing, heavy industry, shipbuilding and airline. 

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Lee served in the judiciary for 13 years, first as a judge in district courts. During his tenure as a district court judge, he gained extensive experience in a wide range of civil, criminal, and administrative cases as well as appeals. He also served as the Director of the Registry Bureau Ministry of Court Administration Office of the Supreme Court of Korea from 2002 to 2004 and worked for the National Assembly from 2005 to 2006. 

From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Lee served as the secretary to President M.B. Lee for legal affairs. During this time, he provided legal advice on major issues related to the administration and the appointment of a new Chief Justice, Justice of the Supreme Court of Korea, and Constitutional Justice.
