김·장 법률사무소의 이순열, 변섭준, 정현, 오정훈(J. Kenneth Oh), 데이빗 워터스(David M. Waters) 외국변호사가 2025년 9월 24일부터 27일까지 고려대학교에서 개최된 제32차 세계한인법률가회(IAKL) 총회에 연사로 참여하였습니다. 

이순열 외국변호사는 “Market Trends in Cross-Border M&A Taking into Account FDI Regulations”, 변섭준 외국변호사는 “Comparative Analysis of Cross-Border Disputes and Access to Justice”, 정현 외국변호사는 “Challenges for Cross-Border Investigations”, 오정훈(J. Kenneth Oh) 외국변호사는 “Building Robust Patent Portfolios and Litigating Successfully Across U.S., Germany, and China for Korean Manufacturers”, 그리고 데이빗 워터스(David M. Waters) 외국변호사는 “It's Not You, It's AI: Rethinking the In-house Legal-Law Firm Relationship in an AI Age”라는 주제로 국제적인 법률 현안에 대해 깊이 있는 발표와 토론을 진행하였습니다.

1988년 창립된 IAKL은 전 세계 한인 변호사 간의 교류와 소통을 목적으로 하며, 현재 23개국에 3,500여 명의 회원을 보유하고 있습니다. 이번 총회는 ‘미래를 향한 원칙으로의 회귀(“Returning to the Principles Toward the Future”)’라는 주제로 진행되었습니다.
