紹介

Jungwoo Park is an attorney in Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, where he mainly represents and advises clients in international disputes, including arbitration and litigation proceedings.

Mr. Park has represented and acted on behalf of clients in numerous international arbitration and cross-border litigation cases in various sectors, including construction, energy, shipbuilding, insurance, M&A, and shipping. Mr. Park has extensive experience in institutional arbitration, such as International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) arbitration, as well as ad-hoc arbitration and relevant court procedures.

Mr. Park is admitted to the Korean bar and is bilingual in Korean and English. In 2022, he won the First Prize in the Essay Competition organized by the Korean Council for International Arbitration (KOCIA). Additionally, Mr. Park is also active in international arbitration communities where he participates in various moot competitions as an arbitrator.

Represented a client in an international arbitration regarding disputes on the validity of an arbitration agreement and the jurisdiction of an arbitral tribunal.
Represented a client in Korean court proceedings regarding a Korean court’s review of an arbitral tribunal’s jurisdiction and authority in international arbitration.
Represented clients in various of interim/provisional measures, including provisional seizure, related to international arbitration and/or disputes before Korean courts.
Represented a client in arbitrator appointment proceedings in Korean courts.
Advised various clients regarding strategy and procedures for numerous international arbitration or dispute cases.
