Wooju Lee is an attorney at Kim & Chang. Since joining the firm in 2014, Mr. Lee has advised many overseas and domestic clients, primarily in the areas of antitrust and competition, corporate governance, foreign direct investment, and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Lee also has extensive experience advising the firm’s clients in the manufacturing, distribution and IT industries.
Mr. Lee regularly advises clients on competition law issues arising from their daily operations, mergers & acquisitions transactions, and investigations by the Korea Fair Trade Commission into violations of competition law. Mr. Lee also has extensive experience in advising companies on board and shareholder meeting operations, as well as developing strategies to address activist shareholder campaigns
He received an LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 2020, graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2011, and received an LL.B. from Seoul National University in 2009. He is admitted to the Korean bar.
