Inhak Lee is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of cross-border litigation and international arbitration and product liability/consumer claims.
Mr. Lee has advised a number of multinational corporations such as manufacturers and investment banks in complex commercial litigation as well as product liability litigation around the world. His experience and expertise in litigation and arbitration have served the needs of the firm’s clients to manage and resolve disputes effectively and promptly.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lee practiced at SmithAmundsen, L.L.C. in Chicago for seven years as a trial lawyer, becoming partner of the firm’s Health Care Group in 2007. During his career at SmithAmundsen, he represented self-insured corporations and general liability insurance carriers throughout Illinois in state and federal courts.
Mr. Lee has authored various publications, including “Chambers Global Practice Guides – Litigation 2021: Korea Chapter” (2020), the “International Comparative Legal Guide to Product Liability: Korea Chapter” (2011), and “Getting the Deal Through Product Liability 2010: Korea Chapter” (2009 and 2010). Mr. Lee has also given presentations on a wide-range of issues including Korean product liability law at various conferences including the 2011 International Bar Association conference held in Dubai.
Mr. Lee received a J.D., Honors with Distinction, from University of Iowa Law School in 1999 and a B.A., Honors, from University of Chicago in 1995. He is admitted to the Illinois bar.
