Ji Hyun Kang is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Department at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of real estate, product liability & consumer claims, corporate governance, and white collar criminal defense practices.
Mr. Kang has been actively involved in many areas of the law such as litigation & arbitration, real estate, product liability & consumer claims, corporate governance, and white collar crime. He also has experience in technology and telecommunications litigation, trade secret litigation, and shipping litigation, which reflects on his experience of serving as a judge for seven years in various district courts in Korea where he gained experience in a wide range of matters.
Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kang served as a district court judge for 7 years. He has presided over a wide range of civil, commercial, and criminal cases during his tenure, including real estate, product liability & consumer claims, white collar criminal defense, construction.
Mr. Kang received an LL.B. from Seoul National University in 1998. He also graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2000. He is admitted to the Korea bar.
