Bio

Sunghun Cho is an attorney at Kim & Chang who practices primarily in the areas of IP, privacy, antitrust, and corporate investigations and white collar defense. He has extensive experience in the areas of IT, telecommunications, biotechnology, information privacy and white collar criminal defense. 

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Dr. Cho served as a public prosecutor from 2004 to 2011, and worked at the Korea Fair Trade Commission from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Cho was also one of the members of Intellectual Property Board of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy in 2009. Based on the experience he has acquired throughout his career, he advises clients in various practice areas including IP, antitrust, corporate investigations and white collar defense, broadcasting and telecommunications, and privacy. 

Dr. Cho received his LL.M. and J.S.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, and his B.S. in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Law from Seoul National University. He also attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2004. 

Dr. Cho passed the Higher Civil Service Examination in 2000. He is admitted to the Korean bar and the New York bar.

Sunghun Cho is an attorney at Kim & Chang who practices primarily in the areas of IP, privacy, antitrust, and corporate investigations and white collar defense.
