Pyung Jae Lee is a tax attorney/CPA in the firm’s Finance Tax Practice Group and General Tax Consulting Practice Group.
Mr. Lee has more than fifteen years of experience in advising companies on a wide range of corporate tax and business issues including tax planning, structuring and managing tax audits and disputes. Mr. Lee’s key focus in recent years has been advising clients of multinational financial institutions such as banks, securities companies, leasing companies, credit card companies, investment advisory and management companies on various finance tax issues relating to financial products and transactions such as derivative transactions, capital market transactions, structured financing, securities lending and borrowing, repo, and insurance & reinsurance transactions.
Mr. Lee also has extensive experience in providing foreign and domestic private equity funds with tax advice relating to mergers and acquisitions, deal structuring, due-diligence reviews, contract negotiations and documentations and dispositions, and advising on tax issues related to reorganizations into financial holding company structure.
