Geon Ho Kim is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in project finance and banking. He also is active in the firm’s Japanese practice. 

Mr. Kim advises financial institutions and construction companies in connection with a wide range of projects in infrastructure such as regional development (development of cities, industrial complexes, resorts, business and residential facilities, real estate, etc.), transportation (ports, railroads, toll roads and tunnels), power plants, water supply and waste water treatment, both in and outside of Korea. 

Mr. Kim also has advised numerous corporate clients in connection with their cross-border asset-backed securitization transactions involving Korean credit card companies. 

As an attorney in the Banking Practice, Mr. Kim has extensive experiences with a variety of financial transactions and regulatory matters, including domestic and overseas loan transactions, regulatory compliance and regulatory examinations. He works extensively with Korean and Japanese banks. 

Mr. Kim was a visiting attorney at TMI Associates in Tokyo in 2008. Mr. Kim earned his B.A. in International Relations at Seoul National University and an LL.M. at the School of Law, University of California, Berkeley. He also attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea. He is admitted to the Korea bar.
