Bio

Thuy Anh Pham is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang’s Hanoi Office. He specializes in mergers & acquisitions and capital markets.

Mr. Pham has acted for overseas and domestic clients across a wide range of industry sectors on various transactions in Vietnam, including public and private M&As, joint ventures, greenfield investments and company restructuring. In the capital markets field, Mr. Pham has advised the issuers or the arrangers in a number of Rule 144A and Regulation S international placements with Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (“HOSE”) listing and some overseas IPO and listing transactions.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Pham worked at Vietnam International Law Firm (“VILAF”) for nine years as a Senior Associate. Mr. Pham also worked as Director at EY Law Vietnam LLC.

Mr. Pham has been named as a rising star in the mergers & acquisitions and capital markets sectors by international legal directories such as IFLR and Asialaw.

Mr. Pham received an LL.M. from the BPP University Law School in 2021, and his LL.B. from the Hanoi Law University in 2011. He is admitted to the Hanoi bar.

  • Advised a Vietnamese conglomerate in the sale of the majority share in its retail business subsidiary to a big consumer product corporate in the form of a merger transaction.
