Bio

Ji Woong Jang is an attorney at Kim & Chang.  He practices in a wide range of corporate areas with a focus on antitrust & competition, regulatory compliance, intellectual properties and product liability & consumer claims.  He has significant experience advising the clients in the automobile, mobility and IT industries.

After joining Kim & Chang in 2011, Mr. Jang has advised numerous domestic and international clients on competition law issues arising from their daily business operations and investigations by the Korea Fair Trade Commission into violations of antitrust and competition law.  His major practice areas also include various forms of consumer engagement, including recalls, product safety, certifications, regulatory compliance, malicious consumer complaints, standard contract regulations, labeling, and advertisements. 

Mr. Jang received an LL.M. from UC Berkeley School of Law in 2018 and his B.E. from Seoul National University College of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in 2003. He graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2011 and is admitted to the Korean bar.
