Young Hei Jo is an attorney at Kim & Chang’s Life Sciences and Healthcare Practice. He primarily advises multinational corporations and Korean conglomerates on regulatory issues and authority dealings, as well as compliance, trade secret misappropriation and fair trade law.
Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Jo worked in New York at PwC (Federal Mergers and Acquisitions Tax), where he specialized in private equity investments, cross-border M&As, private transactions and tax planning. Mr. Jo also worked as a law student clerk in the General Counsel’s Office at the University of Michigan while enrolled in law school.
Mr. Jo is a co-author of “Global Legal Insights: Pricing and Reimbursement 2022: Korea Chapter” and advises global pharma and medical device clients on the details of the pricing and reimbursement system in Korea for pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Mr. Jo received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2015, and his B.A. degree in economics from Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences in 2007. He is admitted to the New York bar.
