Kyung-Soo Cha of Kim & Chang has focused his practice on various disputes related to intellectual property rights such as patents, trade secrets and trademarks. In addition, Mr. Cha is actively providing legal advice as an attorney-at-law with extensive experience in disputes and regulations related to product safety, such as product liability, consumer claims, and KC certification. 

Mr. Cha has been representing multinational companies and Korean companies in various disputes such as IP litigations related to patent, trade secret, etc., patent trials and the Korea Trade Commission's investigations. In particular, Mr. Cha has been successful in multinational patent litigations simultaneously filed in the US, Europe, Japan and Korea. 

Mr. Cha currently serves as an advisor to the Product Safety Advisory Committee of the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards and provides advice on certification and recall issues. Mr. Cha also provides education and lectures to various Korean and foreign companies regarding the protection of intellectual property rights, product safety-related regulations and countermeasures against consumer claims.
