Sang Jin Han is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang’s Mergers & Acquisition Practice. He focuses on corporate and private equity mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures with an emphasis on cross-border transactions.
Mr. Han advised a number of strategic, private equity and sovereign wealth funds in inbound and outbound transactions and as sellers and buyers.
Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Han worked in New York, Hong Kong and Seoul for more than 28 years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he specialized in cross-border inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
Mr. Han has been recognized as one of the leading corporate/M&A lawyers in Korea by international legal directories such as Chambers Asia-Pacific, Legal 500 Asia Pacific, IFLR1000, Asia Business Law Journal and Asia Legal Business.
Mr. Han received a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1996 and his B.A. from Harvard University in 1992. He is admitted to the New York bar.
