While spending five years as a judge at the Seoul Central District Court and Suwon District Court, he especially developed expertise in insolvency and restructuring litigations. During his time at the Supreme Court of Korea as a Research Judge, Mr. Kim experienced a wide range of cases related to insolvency and restructuring, M&A, and banking, securities and finance litigations. 

He has authored many articles and publications in various fields including insolvency law and civil law.
