Dong Kun Kang is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of corporate crime, white collar crime, and corporate govermace and compliance.

He advises clients on the broad range of criminal issues, specializing in corporate crime, tax evasion, unfair trade, and anti-corruption and compliance. He also regularly advises multinational pharmaceutical and medical device companies on Korean pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory matters and in govermental investigations.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kang served as a public prosecutor for 12 years. While serving as a public prosecutor, Mr. Kang led many high profile corporate criminal investigations. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience and expertise on matters dealing with corporate crime, white collar crime, illegal pharmaceutical rebates, criminal investigative practices of prosecution service and police, and other criminal procedure law-related issues.

He received his BA and MA in Economics from Seoul National University and attended the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea. He also studied at Center for Korean Studies, University of California at Los Angeles as a visiting scholar. He is admitted to the Korea bar.
