Bio

Jae Hong Lee is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration (especially administrative litigation, civil litigation), White Collar Criminal Defense, Anti-trust & Competition and Labor & Employment Practice Groups.

Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Lee served in the judiciary system for 31 years, first as a judge in district courts and later as a chief presiding judge in appellate courts and a chief judge in district courts. During his tenure as a judge, Mr. Lee gained extensive experience in a wide range of matters in civil, criminal, administrative and labor litigation.

Reflecting his varied experience as a judge, Mr. Lee has a broad practice in civil, administrative and criminal litigation at the firm. In his civil litigation practice, Mr. Lee specializes in real estate, transaction of loans and banking. He also has an administrative litigation practice focusing on general administration, tax cases and labor dispute cases.

As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Lee is an expert on criminal procedure and is a specialist in white collar criminal defense.
