Jeeyeon Park is a foreign attorney in the finance practice at Kim & Chang. She also practices as a member of the firm’s Health Practice. 

Ms. Park has extensive experience advising financial institutions on all aspects of the development, issuance and marketing of a wide range of structured products linked to equity, commodity, currency or interest rates, including products commonly referred to and sold as ELS/DLS in Korea. She also has significant experience in more mainstream capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. 

Ms. Park’s practice includes advising industry groups and financial institutions in the areas of securities lending and repo and advising financial institutions with respect to ISDA documentation and related legal issues. She also has experience managing commercial litigations in foreign jurisdictions on behalf of Korean financial institutions. 

As a member of the firm’s Health Practice, Ms. Park also advises multinational companies in the pharmaceutical/medical device/food/cosmetics sector on regulatory compliance, competition law issues and general corporate and commercial matters. 

Prior to joining Kim & Chang in December 2011, Ms. Park was an associate in the derivatives and structured products group at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York. 

Ms. Park received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2003 and her B.A. from Seoul National University in 2000. She is admitted to the New York bar.
