Ik Soo Park is a senior attorney at Kim & Chang with over 28 years of both private and public sector experience. He co-leads the firm’s China Practice, and is a key member of the Antitrust & Competition and the Administrative & Public Law Litigation Practices.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Park served as a judge in various district courts around Korea, including the Seoul Civil District Court, Seoul District Court (Western Branch), Chuncheon District Court (Sokcho Branch), and Seoul District Court (Uijeongbu Branch).

Mr. Park is also known for his significant experience with antitrust & competition matters. In addition to his private sector representations, he has served in managerial roles at the Korea Fair Trade Commission, South Korea's regulatory authority for economic competition, and has held various advisory and teaching positions on Competition/Fair Trade Laws.

Mr. Park received his LL.B. from Seoul National University in 1985, and graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 1990. In 1999, Mr. Park was a visiting scholar at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. In 2006, he received his LL.M. from the Graduate School of Law at Yonsei University, and completed Ph.D. coursework in Seoul National University Law School.
