Kim & Chang and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the “KCCI”) jointly hosted a seminar titled “How to Avoid or Manage M&A Disputes” on October 30, 2023. The event was held as part of the Seoul ADR Festival 2023.

Chul-Won Lee started the seminar with opening remarks and Shul Park followed with a presentation on Alternate Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) to prevent M&A disputes.

In the first session, Chul-Won Lee moderated the panel discussion on current dispute trends and tips to avoid M&A disputes. Sup-Joon Byun and Young Min Lee from Kim & Chang and Professor Hi-Taek Shin from Twenty Essex participated as panel members.

In the second session, Una Cho moderated the discussion on how a company may effectively manage disputes and was joined by Harold Noh and Bomi Kang from Kim & Chang, Youngje Lee from PwC and Hyosun Kim from LG H&H as panel members, who shared actual cases and examples of Korean companies.
