On January 17, 2022, Jaeha Kwon, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at a webinar hosted by the Construction Industry Vision Forum and sponsored by the British Embassy.

The main topic of the Forum this year was “Scoping Visit Program between Korea and UK - How shall we use experts in construction projects?,” and the panel discussed issues arising from international construction disputes, the role and importance of independent experts, and practical tips regarding working with technical experts in construction disputes, and etc.

Ms. Kwon also discussed the attorney-client privilege, litigation privilege under English law and related English case law. In particular, Ms. Kwon introduced practical tips on how to prevent, manage, and resolve international construction disputes.
