Kim & Chang recently launched the Russian Sanctions Task Force Team (“Russian Sanctions TF”).

Recently, the U.S. and the EU have been strengthening economic sanctions and export controls against Russia, and Korean and foreign companies are increasingly seeking advice on various legal issues related to sanctions and export controls imposed on Russia. With this in mind, Kim & Chang is introducing a large-scale Russian Sanctions TF in Korea, consisting of attorneys specializing in sanctions, export control, finance, and overseas disputes. 

Key matters to be covered by the Russia Sanctions TF include advising on (1) general issues related to economic sanctions against Russia, (2) issues regarding export control measures against Russia, (3) issues pertaining to Russia-related operations, including review of existing/new agreements involving Russia, and (4) risk management and countermeasures relating to sanctions or export control issues.
