Sun Yul Lee is a senior foreign attorney in the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice as well as the Real Estate Practice, where he specializes in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity-related, and real estate transactions. He has substantial experience in complex inbound and outbound share, business and asset purchase and real estate transactions involving multinational corporate and private equity clients. Mr. Lee is also a senior member of the firm's Compliance Practice, where he specializes in economic sanctions and anti-money laundering regulatory advisory services.  

Mr. Lee was recognized as a Leading Individual / Noted/Recognized Practitioner in Corporate/M&A by Chambers Global and Chambers Asia-Pacific, a Notable Practitioner by IFLR1000, one of "The A-List: Korea's Top 100 Lawyers" by Asia Business Law Journal, and a Next Generation Lawyer in Corporate/M&A by Legal 500 Asia Pacific. 

Mr. Lee graduated from Georgetown University in 2000 and received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2003. He is admitted to the bar of New York and is a native speaker of Korean.
