On January 12, 2015, Mr. Jai-Hyuk Choi of Kim & Chang was appointed as member of the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC).

The PIPC, comprised of 15 committee members, was established for purposes of developing plans and resolving matters concerning the protection of personal information upon the enactment of the Personal Information Protection Act by the Korean Government in September 2011.
