- Acted as lead counsel in major investigations by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (“KFTC”) concerning competition law violations, as well as in complex competition law litigation.
- Represented leading technology companies as lead counsel in major investigations by the Personal Information Protection Commission (“PIPC”) concerning privacy and data protection law violations.
- Served as lead counsel to global premium automotive companies, in administrative investigations and related litigation concerning various government agencies, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (“MOLIT”) and the Ministry of Environment (“MOE”).
- Led defense teams in criminal investigations and related court proceedings concerning complex white collar crime and compliance matters.
- Advised domestic and international clients (both strategic and financial investors) on a wide range of complex cross-border transactions, joint ventures, licensing agreements, corporate governance, and commercial law matters.
- Acted as lead counsel on global merger control filings in large-scale, multi-jurisdictional transactions, including a global steel manufacturer’s acquisition of a controlling stake in a leading trading company and a major technology company’s acquisition of a semiconductor company.
