On September 10-11, 2020, Eun Young Park, Sae Youn Kim and Won Young (Karyn) Yoo, members of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at SIAC North East Asia Academy hosted by Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”).

SIAC North East Academy offers practical, “hands-on” training on advocacy and arbitrator training for arbitration counsel and the aspiring arbitrators.  In this program, Dr. Park and Ms. Kim participated as faculty members and Ms. Yoo participated as a facilitator.

Dr. Park and Ms. Kim, as experienced and renowned arbitrators and counsel, provided advocacy tips on advocacy and cross-examination skills as well as on reviewing a draft award.  Ms. Yoo also participated in the mock evidentiary hearing sessions to provide advocacy tips.

Dr. Park is currently the Chair of SIAC Users Council South Korea National Committee and a member of SIAC Court of Arbitration and Ms. Kim is an arbitrator of SIAC.  Ms. Yoo is a committee member of Young SIAC (YSIAC).
