Safety Investigations of Direct Purchase Overseas Products and Preemptive Investigations of Domestic Products |

Strengthened Oversight of Recalls and Sharing of Recall Information |
As noted above, KATS will be aggressively conducting product safety investigations this year through regular and ad hoc inspections. Further, if the safety investigations uncover other violations, such as failure to obtain or false labeling of KC certification, KATS will take further action, including filing a police report or imposing fines. Thus, we advise careful review of the priority items under investigation for product safety and compliance with safety certification requirements.
