Younglee Byun is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang. She primarily advises multinational corporations in the life science, healthcare, chemical, automotive, and conusmer product industries on a broad range of corporate and regulatory matters.
In addition, Ms. Byun worked with multinational automobile and chemical product companies in need of urgent assistance in investigations by authorities with respect to safety and environmental regulations.
Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Ms. Byun worked at Korean conglomerates, where she specialized in contract review and negotiation on cross-border transactions and closely handled a wide range of corporate matters in an in-house counsel capacity.
Ms. Byun received her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in the US in 2013, and her LL.M. and LL.B. from Ewha Womans University in Korea in 2009 and 2004, respectively.
