Jin Ho Song is an attorney at Kim & Chang who is licensed to practice in Korea and the State of New York with an LL.M. from UCLA School of Law. He provides legal advice in the areas of real estate, construction, mergers & acquisitions, foreign investment, and private equity.
Mr. Song is one of the key attorneys of the firm’s Real Estate Practice that has extensive experience in advising on real estate transactions. He has primarily advised foreign and institutional investors on domestic commercial real estate transactions, and has led research and implementation of real estate investment plans through various vehicles such as REITs, funds and PFVs. Mr. Song has mainly advised on value-added investments, such as development and remodeling, as well as simple real estate sales transactions. In addition, he has provided one-stop services to clients with his expertise in real estate project finance (PF) and taxation, both of which are essential for giving advice on real estate transaction.
Mr. Song advises foreign investors and institutions on domestic real estate transactions, and domestic companies on acquisition of overseas real estate. Based on such wide range of experience, Mr. Song provides diverse planning and advice to domestic and foreign companies at the stage of newly entering into real estate investment or reviewing new types of real estate investments.
Mr. Song has been recognized as a leading individual by Chambers Asia-Pacific for his expertise in real estate. Mr. Song has authored various publications, including “The Real Estate Review: Korea chapter" and "Getting the Deal Through - Real Estate (Korea Chapter)."
