Shawn Seung Min Lee is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang. As a member of the firm’s real estate and corporate practice, Mr. Lee focuses primarily in advising clients in all aspects of domestic and international real estate transactions, including joint venture, development, mortgage and mezzanine financing, and building sale and acquisition transactions.
Mr. Lee also advises corporate and private equity clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions and the formation and structuring of private equity funds and other international investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Lee previously worked for several years in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he worked on real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and fund formation transactions. Prior to his experience at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Mr. Lee worked as a real estate and finance specialist at Mayer Brown LLP (New York City, New York) and Akerman LLP (Jacksonville, Florida).
Prior to law school, Mr. Lee served two years in the South Korea Army.
