Mr. Park has a broad practice in civil, criminal and administrative litigation at the firm. In his civil litigation practice, Mr. Park specializes in intellectual property cases concerning up-to-minute technology in semiconductors, LED and telecommunication. In the area of antitrust and competition, Mr. Park maintains a leading practice where he has handled cases of first impression involving use of econometric models in calculation of damages and the first-ever extra-territorial jurisdiction case. Mr. Park also handles project financing, land development construction, court auction cases in a large number of legal proceedings before Korean courts.
Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Park served in the army for three years as a Judge Advocate, handling contracts and legal issues related to real estate and expropriation, and in the judiciary for four years as a judge at the Seoul district court. During his tenure as a judge advocate and judge, Mr. Park accumulated extensive experiences in civil, criminal and administrative litigation.
