You Jin Kim is a senior attorney specializing in the Fair Trade Act and the corporation law such as M&A dispute.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang as a litigation attorney in 2007, Mr. Kim spent over a decade as a respected civil servant.

Mr. Kim was appointed to the bench in 1996 and began serving as a Judge in the Seoul District Court and the Seoul High Court. He then served as a Judge in the Seoul District Northern Branch Court and went on to serve on the Chuncheon District Court.

He also served as a member of Revision Committee of Commercial Law (Corporation) at Ministry of Justice from 2011 to 2012, and as a member of the Civil Code Revision Committee at the Ministry of Justice from 2023 to 2024. Since 2012, he has been serving as an edition staff of “Justice” at Korea Legal Center.
