Tae Hyuk Ko is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of antitrust and competition, corporate governance, foreign direct investment, and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Ko also has extensive experience advising the firm's clients in the chemical and IT industries.
Mr. Ko advises clients on competition law issues arising from their daily operations, mergers & acquisitions transactions, and investigations by the Korea Fair Trade Commission into violations of competition law. In particular, he counsels foreign IT companies in complex competition law investigations/litigations, especially those involving advanced technology issues.
He received an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law in 2016, graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2007, and received an LL.B. from Seoul National University in 2004. He is admitted to the Korean bar.
