On May 3, 2022, Kim & Chang hosted a webinar with the Korea Wind Energy Industry Association (KWEIA) and Clifford Chance titled, “Offshre Wind Farm: The Commercial Realities and Stying Ahead with Disputes.”

Kim & Chang's Dong-Seok (Johan) Oh made the opening remarks, which were followed by a welcome address by Seok-Hwan Kim, the Chair of KWIEA.  Chang Sup Kwon, Bong-Sang Cho and Wonyoung (Karyn) Yoo from Kim & Chang explained the key considerations when dealing with offshore wind farm projects and introduced measures to mitigate potential risks.  Specifically, Mr. Kwon and Mr. Cho introduced global trends and discussed commercial, financing and legal considerations for offshore wind farm projects in Korea and Ms. Yoo discussed dispute-related challenges and provided practical tips for Korean companies.
