On February 25, 2021, Byung-Woo Im, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at a webinar hosted by the Society of Construction Law, Korea (“SCL Korea”).

In this webinar titled “Studies on 2020 Court Decisions and Their Impacts on Overseas Construction Law and Claims,” the speakers including Mr. Im discussed topics such as court decisions on conflict issues that expert firms participated in and the scope of the consequential loss exclusion clause.

As the Vice-Chair of SCL Korea, Mr. Im also participated as a panel and led a lively discussion covering legal considerations and practical tips for managing construction claim risks in overseas construction sites.
