On June 9, 2020, Sung Woo Kim, the head of the Environment & Energy Research Institute at Kim & Chang, participated as a panelist in Climate Talk and Net Zero 2050, which was co-hosted by the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). 

Introducing Korea’s climate change response strategy, Dr. Kim stated that Korea’s strategy will be a noteworthy example to many developing countries with similar industrial structures, and remarked that he has recently been able to see signs of going green in Korea and abroad. 

Attended by the Ambassador of the Netherlands for Climate Change, the Ambassador of the European Union to Korea, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Korea, and the President of the KDI Graduate School of International Policy, the event provided a place for discussing each country’s response to the Green New Deal and climate change.
