On November 19-20, 2019, Byung-Woo Im and Don Jeon, members of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, spoke at the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board’s (“KCAB”) seminars at the UAE. 

Held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the seminars were co-hosted by the KCAB, Korea International Trade Association, ADGM and DIFC-LCIA. 

The Abu Dhabi seminar was titled the “Dispute Resolution: Middle East Construction Projects & UAE Disputes,” and the Dubai seminar on the following day was titled “Arbitration, Your Resolution to Disputes in North East Asia and the UAE.” 

Mr. Im moderated a discussion on “Middle East Construction Project Claims and Dispute Resolution” whereas Mr. Jeon spoke on the “Impact of E-Discovery in International Arbitration.”
