The Korea Fair Trade Commission (the “KFTC”), after investigation, cleared a global game console developer (the “Company”) of allegations that it had abused its market dominance by unfairly controlling the supply of its products and illegally tying the sale of accessories and software to the sale of game consoles.

Kim & Chang represented the Company throughout the entire investigation process, which was triggered by a complaint filed with the KFTC.  Our firm effectively assisted the Company in presenting relevant facts and defense arguments to the KFTC case team, conducting thorough fact-finding and an in-depth analysis of the relevant issues.  As a result, the KFTC issued a “no violation” decision, clearing the Company of all allegations.
