Bio

Yu Seok Jung is an attorney in the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (“TMT”) Practice, Antitrust & Competition Practice, Privacy & Data Security Practice, and Intellectual Property Practice. Mr. Jung practices primarily in a wide variety of corporate and regulatory issues in the TMT and IT industries.

Mr. Jung has extensive experience advising global tech companies, cloud service providers, IT companies, semiconductor manufacturers, software providers, and consumer electric companies. His work encompasses a wide range of regulatory and compliance challenges, including investigations by regulatory authorities. He has developed a deep understanding of the emerging technologies and telecommunications landscape, enabling him to provide industry and client-specific solutions.

In addition, Mr. Jung has advised on competition law matters, addressing issues arising from day-to-day operation, mergers and acquisitions, and administrative investigations, particularly those involving cutting-edge telecommunications and technology innovations.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Jung worked as a patent attorney at an international patent firm, where he specialized in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries.
