Yehyung Kim is a Korean attorney at Kim & Chang who has a wide breadth of experience in dealing with regulatory compliance and government investigations. 

As a key member of the firm’s Anti-Corruption & Corporate Compliance Practice, Ms. Kim is experienced in representing multinational companies in high-profile criminal and regulatory investigations. In particular, she has extensive experience in managing various legal and practical risks associated with these government-led investigations. In addition, she has worked with clients from different sectors to conduct internal corporate investigations involving issues such as bribery, embezzlement, fraud, sexual harassment and workplace bullying. Ms. Kim has successfully concluded these internal investigations and helped her clients navigate their way through crises and manage their business risks. 

In terms of antitrust work, Ms. Kim has represented clients from a variety of industries (e.g., aviation, ICT, energy) in the Korea Fair Trade Commission’s investigations relating to merger control, cartel, abuse of market dominance, unfair trade practice and advertising cases. In these cases, she managed to bring out the best outcome for her clients based on her efforts to understand the dynamics of the relevant industry. Recently, with the increase of domestic outbound mergers in Korea, she has been developing her expertise and knowledge on global merger filing, serving Korean corporations in navigating through the various merger control regimes in different countries and assisting clients to successfully and smoothly obtain clearance from competition agencies. 

Since joining Kim & Chang in 2013, she has dealt with a lot of clients particularly from the healthcare industry. She is knowledgeable about the Korean regulatory regime relating to pharmaceutical and medical devices industry and also has provided compliance training sessions for clients in this industry.
