Soo Yong Sung is a senior advisor at Kim & Chang’s Tax Audit & Tax Dispute Resolution Practice. At the firm, Mr. Sung advises clients on all aspects of tax laws and tax ruling requests. 

Mr. Sung joined Kim & Chang in 2005 after 20 years of distinguished service with the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE), where he served as the Director of Corporate Tax Division and Director of Tax Expenditure Division. In these capacities, Mr. Sung played a major role in restructuring Korean tax policies and laws. 

Mr. Sung has also contributed to the drafting of various tax legislations and regulations through his MOFE committee membership activities.
