Sung Jin Kim is an attorney in Kim & Chang's International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation, Litigation and Product Liability & Consumer Claims Practices. 

Before joining the firm, Mr. Kim served in the judiciary for three years as a judge in the Seoul Western District Court and the Seoul Administrative Court. 

Reflecting his extensive experiences as a judge, Mr. Kim has a broad practice area in civil and administrative litigation at the firm. In his civil litigation practice, Mr. Kim specializes in cross-border disputes, product liability, mass tort litigation, consumer claims, and recall matters. As a counsel for numerous companies, he has actively engaged in many major product liability litigations involving cases about sudden acceleration, computer software, consumers' claims, airbags and vehicle fire, among others. In addition, he represents the firm's clients before government authorities with respect to recall procedures. In his administrative litigation practice, he regularly attends hearings before the Administrative Appeals Commission and participates in court litigation proceedings.
