Min Woo Baek is an attorney at Kim & Chang’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, International Practice, Financing, and Capital Markets Practices. He primarily advises global and domestic private equity firms, asset management companies, multinational corporations and non-bank financial institutions.

While working at Kim & Chang and at Yulchon LLC, Mr. Baek engaged in M&A transactions and financing for a number of Korean and overseas companies. Since then, he moved to Macquarie Korea Asset Management Co., Ltd. (MKAM) and provided legal advice on its establishment and management of private equity funds, compliance and regulation, and its mergers and acquisitions to acquire or sell new assets.

Additionally, Mr. Baek is a Korean attorney-at-law with an international background. Having graduated from elementary, middle and high schools in Indonesia, he is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia and has extensive experience in providing legal advice on Korean companies' investment in Indonesia based on his language skills and the cultural understanding he has earned from his long experience in the country.

Mr. Baek has been actively delivering lectures for domestic companies and financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, overseas investment and labor management at KOTRA, the Korea Institute of Finance, the Hyundai Economic Research Institute, and the Labor-Management Development Foundation.

Mr. Baek received his LL.B. from Handong Global University and his J.D in Pusan National University School of Law. He passed the Korean Bar Examination and was admitted to the Korean bar in 2014.
