• Represented a Japanese company in patent disputes concerning structures of semiconductor equipment and machinery equipment. 
• Represented an international company engaging in character business in a dispute concerning infringement of globally known trademarks and characters and various civil/criminal actions. 
• Advised and represented domestic and international clients including global IT companies on a wide range of legal issues and civil actions relating to IP laws and IT industry-specific issues such as licensing, abuse of IP rights and privacy protection. 
• Represented international clients in copyright infringement disputes concerning globally used software programs. 
• Represented domestic and international clients in trade secret misappropriation disputes concerning manufacturing equipment and processing of chemical substances. 
• Performed compliance reviews and advised multinational clients on how to improve compliance policies and procedures for assignment and remuneration of in-service inventions, protection of trade secrets, and employment of clearance steps to avoid infringing on a third party’s IP rights. 
• Represented and served as counsel on IP issues for domestic and international clients on various corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing, and distributorships.
