Bio

John Sangho Park is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang. Mr. Park has extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project financing, and offshore investment with a focus on energy (oil & gas) and resources related transactions.

Mr. Park has been actively involved in developing and executing oil & gas projects in Asia, the Middle East and North America and advises clients on issues relating to concessions, product sharing contracts, joint operating agreements, EPCIC, project finance, gas sales and LNG off-take.

Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Park was a general counsel of DSME ENR Ltd., an integrated oil company wholly owned by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd.

Mr. Park received an LL.B. from the University of Sydney in 2002 and attended the College of Law in 2003. He is admitted as a solicitor/barrister of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.
