Joe Kim is a foreign attorney (admitted in Illinois) at Kim & Chang specializing in disputes and crisis management, with a focus on product liability, white collar defense and corporate compliance issues.

Since joining the firm in 2016, Mr. Kim has provided advice in some of Korea’s most complex and long-running matters, including a multi-year product liability case involving criminal, civil, government and stakeholder dimensions. He has played a key role in several bet-the-company level crises, helping clients respond with a multidisciplinary approach that integrates corporate strategy, stakeholder communication and regulatory defense.

Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Kim worked in leading tech companies, both in the Silicon Valley and Korea, in his capacity as manager in sales and business intelligence.
